Translation Sources Toolbar

 

Toolbar to find and get translations from translation sources.

 

 

ID Match -- Source Text Match

The commands buttons "Find Translation" and "Auto-Translate" are available twice.

 

With source text match.            With source text and ID match.

 

For the first pair of buttons, the search compares the source text, while the second pair compares both, the item ID and the source text.

 

Which one to choose depends on the reason and goal of the translation import an on the translation source. The optimal approach might be to attempt it first with ID matching and then with the second option without ID matching.

Toolbar Buttons  --  Commands

Find Translation in...

Opens the Find Translation dialog box to select a translation source.

To find translations in a single translation source.

Get Translation from...

Opens the Get Translation dialog box to select a single translation source.

To translate one or multiple selected items.

Save Translation to...

Opens the Save Translations dialog box to select a single translation source.

Saves the translation of the selected item/s) to a translation source.

Save to Save References -- Enabled: #

Opens the Translation Sources dialog box.

Saves the translation to translation sources enabled as save references.
Here:  1 translation source is enabled and active for the current source and target  language.

Translation Sources

Opens the Translation Sources dialog box.

# Indicator: Count of active and count of available translation sources supporting the current source and target languages (here: 4 active, 10 available).

Find Translation

Find translations from the current active translation sources.

The source text must match the minimum match value set.  The Item ID is ignored.

# Indicator: Count of active translation sources supporting the current source and target languages (here: 4).

Auto-Translate

Translates the item(s) selected from the current active translation sources.

The source text must match the minimum match value set. The Item ID is ignored.

# Indicator: Count of active translation sources supporting the current source and target languages (here: 2).

Find Translation with Matching ID

Find translations from the current active translation sources.

The source text must match the minimum match value set and the item ID must be the same.

Auto-Translate with Matching ID


Translates the item(s) selected from the current active translation sources.

The source text must match the minimum match value set and the item ID must be the same.
· Options  -- Opens the "Find and Get Translation" options dialog box.

TM Workbench

Starts the RC-WinTrans TM Workbench.

 

·

Machine Translator

 Opens the Machine Translator.
