Hotkeys – Suggestions and Conflict Resolution

 

RC-WinTrans features suggestion and conflict detection for hotkey assignments.  Hotkey errors (missing/doubled hotkeys) are indicated to the user in the Dialog Box view, the Menu view and in the check results column of a project's main window.

 

Running a hotkey check, the results are also shown in the Check Results window.

 

Detected hotkey errors may either be resolved manually in the Translation Edit bar or with the Hotkey Assignment manager.

 

This feature can be accessed in this ways:

1.

With the item in the Dialog Box view or the Menu view select, right mouse-click to call up the local menu, then select the Hotkey Assignment command.

2.

With an item selected use the Hotkey Assignment command from the Edit menu, the Checks menu or the command in the toolbar.

3.

 Translation Edit bar: use the Hotkey Assignment command in the local menu or the local toolbar.
