Single Selected Item

The Translation Edit Bar is the primary place to enter/edit a translation for the source text of a selected item. If there are more items with the same source text they can be translated all at once using the "OK (n)" toolbar button.

 Multiple Selected Items
 
A number of selected items can be translated by using:

·

 Automatic Translation with the use of Translation Sources.

·

 Getting the translation from a manually selected translation source.

·

 Import from a translation exchange file: e.g. Excel, TMX or XLIFF

·

 Import from a translated resource file to reuse existing resources text.

 Context:  Dialog and Menu View
 
A selected dialog box item (Dialog Box editor) or a menu item (Menu view) is also primarily edited in the Translation Edit Bar.
