This is a step-by-step (1..4) guide to get a first translated target file from your source file. Requirement: RC-WinTrans Professional
Add one of your files to be translated (source file) to the new project. Menu command: "File" | "Add" | "Resource File (for Translation)..."
Select an item in the project main window (text table) and translate it. Enter the translation text in the "Translation Edit Bar" and press OK there.
It is fine to translate at least one item, one you can check it is translated in the target file (step 4).
To create a target file no item(s) needs to be translated. An item not translated has the source data as in the source file. A
target file is usually a copy of the source file where a source
text/data is replaced by a given translation.
Create/Write the target file for the current/one target language.
Open the "Target Files" dialog box with: "Project" | "Target Files..."
Create the target file with... "Create Target File" (group) -> "All" (button)
The target file is created and at least the one item (step 3) you will find translated. Check/See the translated item.
