Symbol

Description

Temporary marker.

Indicates that the/a source file has changed. The symbol is used in the
Projects view.

Sample:

Error and Warning symbol.

Bookmark symbol.  The item is bookmarked for easy reference.

Re-check marker.

Task Incomplete symbol.  The item is part of a task listed in the Task List

window and has not yet been completed.  More...

Task Complete symbol.  The item is part of a task listed in the Task List

window and has been completed.  More...

Alternate Translations symbol.  Alternate translations exist for the item.

Note symbol.  A note has been added to the resource text.

Excluded from Translation symbol.  The item (Text Table view) is set to be excluded from the translation.

Locked symbol.  The resource is locked.

Unique translation symbol.  The item is exempt from the automatic translation of identical texts function.  More...

Approved symbol.  The state of the item is set to "approved."

General symbol for all resources (menu, dialog box/form, text, accelerator, etc.).

Resource type: dialog box.

Resource type: menu.

Resource type: message compiler resource (Win32 EXE/DLL files, text resources).

Resource type: stringtable resource (text-only resource).

Resource type: version resource (Win32 RC/EXE/DLL/OCX files).

.NET Windows Forms, .NET Windows Forms file.

Files (any file type).

XLIFF file format (file extension = .xlf).

Translation Project symbol.

 Project is opened.
 Project is closed.
 A source file in the project has been changed.

Size (width and height- cx, cy).

Position (x, y).

ActiveX control properties.

Dialog Box Editor: the position and/or size has been adjusted for the current target language.

Dialog Box Editor: the position and/or size has been adjusted for the current target language and the position and/or size in the source resource file has changed since the item was last edited.

Missing mnemonic key (hotkey).

Multiple mnemonic key (hotkey).

Indicates one and the same hotkey is specified two or more times.
The number beside the symbol stays for the items which have the same hotkey.
