The default language is the language from which text will be taken to write a target file when the source text is not translated. The default setting in RC-WinTrans makes this language the one used in the source file, meaning that if a text has not been translated, RC-WinTrans will use the text from the source file (source text) when it writes the target file. For example, you might have a source file in German with the target languages English and Japanese. When creating the Japanese target file (using the Write File command), RC-WinTrans would insert the German source data for any texts that had not been translated. If you set the default language for the Japanese target file to English, however, then the English translation would be used if text had not been translated into Japanese. NOTE: Each target language can have its own default language.
